Early Childhood Language and Literacy Program
The Early Childhood Language and Literacy Program provides explicit literacy instruction to preschool teachers, early years teachers, special needs teachers, teachers’ aides, parents and community members.
This program addresses the importance and effectiveness of early intervention to prepare and support children for successful literacy learning in the early schooling years.
The program consists of a 5-day course and ongoing assistance to include phonemic awareness games and activities and early language skill builders into the existing programs/curriculum of the preschools/schools. These pre-literacy games and activities provide children with the basics of English language development that are essential building blocks for learning to read, spell, write and comprehend in English.
